The Lewis Family

This blog has sadly taken a back seat to our life, but that is a good thing.  It means we are busy out there living life.  But I don't want to forget anything, I wish I had a 24/7 camera on each of my kids so that I could have every moment forever. Lately: Jasmin is a very busy girl, who keeps me busy.  Some days I am sooo tired of driving around, but it is part of the job description therefor I do.  She is at Studio 1 Dance Center , on their Junior Elite team and in a hiphop class and loving it all.  She is on the Intermediate Company for Utah Valley Civic Ballet and currently working on their Cinderella production coming this June at UVU.  She will be testing for the RAD grade 1 in April, super excited for that.  She will also be competing with a solo at the dance comps Studio 1 is attending next month.  Seems busy is an understatement, huh?  She is loving school and thoroughly enjoys reading books.  She is very excited to be turn...

This handsome boy! Ryken is all boy.  He loves playing sports and playing video games with daddy.  He is very good about cleaning his room because it means he gets a turn on the ipad or xbox.  He loves to sing, and does so loudly.  He loves avengers and ninja turtles.  He loves preschool with Ms Konnie.  He truly is our handsome man.

Can you believe this little man is 2 already?  I honestly am not sure where that time has gone.  He is such a light in our lives.  He is FULL of personality and such a lover bug.  He is his brother's shadow and sister's "baby".  He is always playing or dancing or running around.  A typical Zackary interaction proceeds as following: "Daddy?  'Yes, Zackary?' TACO!"  it is so funny, not sure what he thinks taco means but he says it a lot.  Another favorite word is RO-BOT.  He loves playing with balls just like his big brother and some of his favorite shows right now are Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Pingu, and Avengers the cartoon.  He is so much fun and we are so grateful he is a part of our lives.

Merry Christmas! Thanks for visiting our blog.  In an attempt to save a few trees, I only send out Christmas cards with our blog address on them so then you can come here if you care to hear what our year was about. To be honest, it was a pretty mellow year. Steve is still at Pepsi as a super salesman, hopefully a promotion is in the near future.  He is still in scouts at church as a Webelos leader.  He fills his time working on the basement or rearranging the house, whichever suits his fancy that week.  Sadly he has had to spend a bit of time lately working on cars, so has taken him away from the house projects, but at least he is able to work on our cars so we are grateful for that. Clerissa is still playing the stay at home mom game.  Still selling Norwex , Scentsy , and Close to my Heart from home to help pay for the kids activities.  She helps out at Jasmin's school and is also on the board at her ballet company.  She was team parent for Ry...

Jasmin Jean is our dancing queen.  I cannot believe that sister is 7 years old!  We are so proud and grateful to have sister in our family.  She is an amazing helper and big sister.  She absolutely LOVES school and reading.  She absolutely LOVES to dance.  She is pretty proud of her back hand spring she mastered over the summer.  She is currently at Studio 1 Dance and on the company at Utah Valley Civic Ballet.  She will be performing her first solo in a ballet this winter in Peter and the Wolf and is super excited to be in the spring production of Cinderella.  Jasmin can be found dancing all the time, or singing, or plucking away at the piano.  This little girl is always amazing us.  Grammy taught her a song on the piano one time and she picked it up and many others since.  She is truly a blessing in our lives and we are so grateful to be able to call her ours.
