Yesterday we were declared legally insane, we went on a hiking trip, we hiked the mountain Timpanogos. The first pic is off us at the begining of the trail, the next is the first waterfall and then the second one. The last is the mountain that we were climbing up to. Five hours up, we made it to the end of the main glacier and Emerald Lake. We didn't go the extra two hours to the top, we were exhausted and it wouldn't be the smartest thing to take a baby up to the top ridge, we were told that it is narrow and windy and has a huge step part that would be hard coming back down. Jasmin was amazing, didnt get fussy till the last two hours, but by then we were all fussy, it had been a long day. We started at 7:30am ( got up at 5:30am ) and made it down the mountain at 9:30pm. Jasmin kept talking the whole way up, whether to Daddy who carried her, or to the other hikers or just in general. She loved all the nature and played with leaves Daddy would hand her. We ran into another baby right as we were starting down, who was a day older than Jasmin, crazy huh, she was still the youngest hiker that day :)Today, we are dead for sure, sore as can be but glad to be home :)

So yes, since I didn't have near as many pics as I thought, figured I would write an update, I owe you that much :) Let's see, the day I posted our Christmas letter little man decided to start walking. He is so stinking cute to watch do this, he looks to little to, but hey sister was doing it at 9 months so technically he was a month later :) He leans his weight on his hands and pops up his bum onto his feet and stands up and off he goes. Watching him go after sister or "zombie walk" ( arms out stretched ) over to you is so much fun. Ha, even tries to dance like he sees sister do, and bounces a little or walks in circles after her. Sometimes it amazes me how much fun these little people can be. He waves and sounds to say "bye" when he does. He and sister got little play cell phones for Christmas and he will open his and put it to his ear and say "hi." He loves to antagonize sister, and he knows just how to do it too, the little stink. So. I apologize for slacking, I seriously feel like I have hit empty and yet I am still going some how. After the whole enrichment bash and then the week of halloween festivities and then a week of getting stuff for my card class and ctmh meeting ready and going from one event to the the next, I just keep putting it off. Did I mention in that time we got a new furnace from the weatherization people just to have it break down and then to find holes in our new flooring? Plus I have my first bookfair this week that I had to get ready for last week and then a vt conference on Saturday that need food for it and little man finally broke his teeth through on Saturday and yet still isn't sleeping through the night... so yes, life is draining and I keep putting off posting and I apologize for my slacking.
